Great find, Per - but I prefer the original.

Yeah... well, I was in a discussion at a grammar police forum... it’s really about Swedish, but someone just brought up how Germans pronounce TV te-fau, and I was struck with nostalgia for Nina Hagen’s Ich Glotz’ TV... and thought of posting it here.

I then figured it may not have the broad appeal necessary, and posted her version of My Way instead.

But what the fudge...

Also... I can’t hear Beyonce’s pathetic If I Were a Boy without thinking how much better Nina Hagen’s take on the was...



She would be able to stay out all night without some dick making a fuss, she’d get a motorbike and be known all over town, she’d be a great center for a football team, and finally, she’d join the gay scene, seduce all those cute boys and have loads of action...!

I’ll round it off with a more classical punk anthem, Guns of Brixton. Enjoy!
