Marchand doesn't play centre and is far better than busbomber.

Ladd is overpaid and signed his deal as a UFA.

You are as dumb as a sack of hammers

Dreger reports that Dougie Hamilton would go a long way in helping the leaves shitty Edmonton Oiler Taylor Hall era defence core. LOL. What a stretch. It will take a thousand drafts to legitimize that D group. LMAO!!

I bet ole Lou would love to add a Stecher or a Tryamkin or a Hutton or a Tanev or Gudbranson or a Juolevi or a Brisebios or a Demko to the team. He loves his D and goalies as it was D and goaltending that won him Stanley Cups

Ya just know that the Diva Nylander and Babcock funny mouth isn't s match made in heaven. I could see a Sbisa for Nylander trade soon. We got the depth on D and Babcock is on the verge of hating girl face and his me first attitude

Did anybody see that just inside the blueline seeing eye pick the very top corner shot by Laine, last night? Holy fuck what a beaut he is! Ya might of missed it due to the endless run on highlight of Matthews easy tap in that my grandma could have scored, due to the biased Canadian hockey media headquartered in Toronto

TSN gives the Laugh fans the only love they can get. That site has gotten worse since they lost the NHL rights to hockey and it really has become a sausage party for everything Laughs.

Going less and less to it because of the complete shit coming out of there.

Sorry Tuna Laughs still suck and will always suck.

One of the funniest things I've ever read, Kadri being compared to Marchand. Gold Jerry

Yeah, I think so, and Ottawa and Winnipeg. Something like that.

Got to disagree on Kadri. He is a good player who is getting better under coach. Also think Reilly is a potential number one D. Aside from that I do not like the Leaves D at all. Must be driving the Cock crazy. At a certain point potential becomes failure and Gardnier is hovering right there. JVR is decent but not worth the money. Matthews will be a stud and Marner will get killed if they ever make it to the playoffs. I am not sure Nylander has the grit to succeed beyond regular season. The Goal has no depth but they are getting better under Babcock.

They are ripe for a trade. They need D but who on that team would we want back? There are not many and the ones there are will not be going anywhere.

JVR.
Actually, IN, that's interesting.
If it were Tanev, their pay and age are very close, (no add ons or picks necessary).
I can see JVR taking over from Burrows for the next 3 years after this one.
Would give us a chance to build the rest of the team.
A good transitional piece.
He is on pace for around 75 points and 35 goals. That might be a little lower with us.
It is, at least, a thought.

JVR has a modified NTC where he names 10 teams he won't accept a trade to.

Being an American from New Jersey and approaching 30 one would think he would prefer a move to a more developed team that isn't on Canada's west coast.

Rumours mounted JVR may be moved and some suggested Calgary as a destinatino but apparently the Flames are on his no trade list. Which makes me think Vancouver would be on that list as well for obvious reasons.

From Frank Seravalli:
Teams will be interested in James van Riemsdyk if he becomes available. The Flames are one of 10 teams that are on van Riemsdyk’s limited no-trade list.

JVR is signed for 4.25 million. That's a steal. What veteran who's putting up those numbers makes less than that?
There's no need to rush a trade for help on D.

And *Yawn* Marner's too small... He's proven everyone wrong time and time again. Elite talents produce in the playoffs. Since when do you need to be physical in the playoffs? The Penguins owe their cup to acquiring Phil Kessel. The man who never hits and avoids physical contact like the plague.
