Which is also why the Canucks can afford to play a little bit of hardball with Marky in contract negotiations.

Stick to two years. IF he don't like it, well then adios amigos, and the Canucks sign a vet goalie to play 50/50 with Demko as he develops into a #1.

And there's a shit ton of goalies avail this summer -

Fuck! Nature walk time
Stetcher and Hughes don't fit in any BIG 6
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

He hasn’t sat a game this year. He’s ahead of Oscar and Jordie on the depth chart and rightfully so.

Right-handed Dmen on this team don't get scratched. Not with Tanev's history the last 3-4 years and not with the lack of quality right-handers across the league.

That's why they always cost more. We don't have enough of them.

Thank goodness Stecher is durable because he's been in the top 5 Dmen in getting hit since he's been in the league.

I ain’t fired up. Cool story though. I just like drowning out Topper’s drivel. The guy is an NHL player, it’s hilarious the flack he gets here. Doc is the master needler and always has been. Nobody in his league imho.

True to a point but both Jordie and Oscar can play the right side and have over their careers.

True, but Greener doesn't play that game. He's never put guys on their wrong sides.

Wonder how many crappy offers JB had to turn down for Gaudette, Demko, Juolevi and Rafferty....young potential. Bet anything Dubas wanted one of OJ or Rafferty plus Stecher + for Barrie...only to lose Barrie for nothing July 1st.
I believe Barrie will pull a 2010 Hamhuis (even if a team trades for his rights after the season, he'll still go to UFA).
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
