Who has a bêtter young core - the Jets or leaves

Scheiffle
Laine
Connor
Ehlers
Trouba
Petan
Morrissey
Roslovic
Lemieux
Jansens
Armia

Or

Matthews
Marner
Nylander
Reilly

Ain't no doubt

It's the Jets

A different story' if the leaves were smart enough to draft Laine
So we're including all Jets prospects but leaving most of the Leaf ones out. Where is Dermot, Neilson, Greenaway, Kapanen, Dzerkals, Timashov, Bracco, Valiev, Leipsic?

^ Tuna, the first thing they teach about fancy stats is that they're completely useless over small sample sizes.

All you Canuck fans if given a choice would pick Matthews. You're not going to build your team around a one-dimensional winger who is poor 5 on 5.

Fuck that shit, I'd take Laine any day of the week ahead of Matthews, but bottom line,'of the Calder rookie candidates, give me Werenski ahead of Laine and that overrated bum - Matthews

True story: I had the choice... took Laine rather than Matthews in my keeper league.

Poor leaf fans, their team went full tank the wrong year and drafted a slow lumbering Mexican from Arizona while the previous draft the next Gretzky from Toronto went to Alberta, again. Must suck. Must doubly hurt they passed on the leagues next great sniper.

Toronto Marlies’ goaltender Garret Sparks has been suspended indefinitely by the Toronto Maple leaves for violating team policy after directing violent and sexist language toward a user in an online group.

According to users in a Facebook goalie group for which Sparks is an administrator, members of the forum were mocking a disabled person and Sparks came to that person’s defence by asking one of those in the forum where he lived and writing, “I want to go to open hockey with you, drag you out to center ice and beat you into a [expletive] pulp until you can’t run that [expletive] little mouth of yours. God, you sound like a 13-year-old girl.

When another member reprimanded Sparks for insulting women, he apologized and continued, “Girls don’t even whine as much as this guy does.”
Sorry but that last sentence made me lol a little (Sparky still didn't get it!).

Yikes, first he screws up an opportunity in the bigs last season... now this.

Sparks was guaranteed $150M playing for the Marlies... not anymore.

The way this guy is going, he's gonna end up driving a cab...

Sparky is too good for the PC correct Leaves and their coddled boy in a bubble bus bomber.

This thread is turning out great. You Canuck fans are not good with predictions, are you? "Canucks Will Be Better Than The leaves", "Marner Will Be a Bust", "leaves Made A Mistake Not Taking Lane". LOL golden!

The difference between me and you is I can see past my hate, I hate the Habs and I picked them to finish 1st in the East and Price is one of the greatest goalies I've ever seen. You guys can't see past your hate.

William Nylander is the 3rd best rookie on the leaves this year. Think about that for a second. The team's future is so bright. The Canucks are in deep doo doo. Your owner will not do what MLSE brilliantly did and tank. You have years of crappy hockey to look forward to. Enjoy!

And shame on you guys for already abandoning the team. We never do that in Toronto. You guys bragged about your sell-out streak when you were good. Now comes the real test and you're failing badly.

The Raptors are doing well BTW, how are the Grizzlies doing?

But we don't pay money to go see suckage for multiple years.
We don't throw expensive jerseys on the ice.
We should be the financial capital of Canada!

Throwing jerseys on the ice is safer than destroying your city.
We are the financial capital of Canada. Blame Montreal's politics for that.
