Pretty cocksure of yourself when your leaves are a mere three points ahead of a team that so far has been laughably (leaf-ably?) bad, endured a nine game losing streak, picking up where they left off on the injury parade (although I'm not sure things would be too much different up to this point totally healthy), and whose only success came from smoke and mirrors, by your own admission. So what exactly does that say about your team? They don't seem so amazing in that light, do they? Yeah i know. Game in hand and blah blah blah. But right now its about fifty fifty they waste that game.
Like I've already said, if all things remain the same you would win the bet but how about we let the season play out first. Jeebus jive turkey, we are not even 20 games in yet. I realize that you love to jump all over any sliver of current/immediate success, telling anyone with ear/screenshot it will most certainly translate into years of future glory, stardom, and stanley cups...just as much as you like to disappear when reality crushes your junky beliefs and ridiculous predictions. Let's see what happens before declaring game, set, & match, shall we?
Stop with the excuses. The Canucks have barely had a lead this season. They're lucky to be where they are.

that was my whole point you ding dong. And the leaves are still within three points. So with that in mind, I'm just trying figure out why you are feeling so righteous. Let me reiterate and so that maybe it sinks in a little through your thick skull...you are a paltry three points ahead of a team that so far has performed generationally bad.

I see no relevance to this thread until December the third.

But just for shits and giggles;

IMHO; The leaves should have a few more points than they do and should be right in the thick of things.

It would appear the problem lies in line deployment.

That would be coaching. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA , God, I crack myself up...

Is Matthews NOT the generational player the Toronto Sports Network has hyped him up to be? It sure is starting to look like it. My gawd they let the Great Laine slip through their hands. Colossal mistake. Discuss below

Your a hoot Tuna, a little brain fried but then being a fan of one of the worse NHL teams for the past 20 years will do that.

Matthews is a bust. Only on pace for 59 points.

Laine just looks like the real deal, future elite star player already. Matthews the next Ryan Johansen maybe?

Who has a bêtter young core - the Jets or leaves

Scheiffle
Laine
Connor
Ehlers
Trouba
Petan
Morrissey
Roslovic
Lemieux
Jansens
Armia

Or

Matthews
Marner
Nylander
Reilly

Ain't no doubt

It's the Jets

A different story' if the leaves were smart enough to draft Laine

Unfortunately, the draft is a bad one this year. Nucks are tanking in the wrong year.
I don't see anyone offering up the Canucks any top young centers with size such as Patrick anytime soon, so I'll be more than ecstatic if we got him.

Trying to trade for Draisaitl or Dylan Strome, imagine the cost for those guys?

Patrick or Vilardi, is just another piece for the future for this low-key rebuilding team.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

So we are making career statement of facts based on 20 games?

You're better than this Dude...

Those who think Patrick or Vilardi or Liljegren or Hirschier or Rasmussen or Mittlestat wouldn't be nice additions to our prospect depth are out to lunch

Agreed RD, 100%.

Adding 1 of these would go a long way to prove the team.
