I think to an extent you are right people are finally waking up to the fact they cannot believe what they read or watch on tv or read read on the web. It's all true, the media has been used to manipulate the truth but who is doing the manipulating of the manipulators?

For years the Right have whined that the media hates them.
The left have whined for years the media hates them.

in the US it alternates every four to eight years depending on the lunacy of the guy in the White House
In Canada it seems every fourth election we get an NDP or alternative in charge.

But what really changes ?


Taxes go in only one direction
Homes become farther out of reach
Joblessness sits at or about a few percentage points the same

And the divide between the rich and poor grows ever wider.


Can't trust what you see or hear, can't trust your elected officials, can't trust your
Religious belief system. Can't trust the police. Can't believe In the reasons for sending our sons to war anymore.

Who is the bad guy? who is the good guy?

The American dream is a shell and pea game.

People Are starting to realize it

The only question really worth asking is

What's next ?

60 billion dollar trade deficit between the 2 countries. I would say trump has some leeway there...

The better question is does trump realize how much American corporations depends on Mexican cheap labour for their profit margins.

If he goes through with adding taxes to Ford and GM et al to pay for the wall
He'll end up beside Kennedy in Arlington.

The wall is a dumb ass diversion for dumb ass people.
It will never be built, all trump has to do is make it appear that it is being built for photo ops and it's a nice little handy device for laundering money for him and his puppet masters to spend on frying bigger fish elsewhere.

That 60 billion goes right into the pockets of American corporations and shareholders. They ain't going to build no wall with it.

It just means that the US buys 60 billion more from Mexico than Mexico buys from the US.... trade deficit thus they can add a tarif to Mexican product, that tariff is where the money will come from. Problem with that is the American consumer still ends up paying for it.
