Canada mixed doubles curling team 3-0 after beating home side Italy (defending champions) today.

Mark McMorris (post being stretchered off the slopes yesterday) will miss his big air competition today but will partake in slopestyle later in the games.

Canadians to follow:

Mikael Kingsbury, Cassie Sharpe & Marielle Thompson - freestyle skiing

William Dandjinou - short track speed skating

Eliot Grondin - snowboarding

Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier - pairs figure skating

Reece Howden - ski cross

Abigail Strate - ski jumping

Hallie Clarke - skeleton

Rachel Homan & Brad Jacob's - men's and women's curling teams (Homan is the #1 ranked team in the world)

Obviously hockey.

The odd unexpected success always arises at the games as well.

Canada has historically been good at short and long track speed skating.

Wanna see a babe with legs and ass?

Watch out for Jutte Leerdam, speed skater Netherlands, one of the best in the world and also know as Jake Paul's fiance (I think I posted her up in the Girls thread long ago....)

Lol

World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) ready to investigate any ski jumpers cheating by injecting hyaluronic acid in their penises.

Why? Because the acid increases “genitalia at the point their suits are measured by 3D scanners…temporarily enhanced measurements would theoretically mean athletes being given a bigger, looser suit and, like a sail catching wind, could allow them to make longer jumps.”

Why?

(Actually curious)
I can't stand the pomp and pageantry of the whole thing.

Plus what Lever said about me being a bitter old man

Yeah Corn...speed skating (both long and short track as noted previously) has always been good to us.

Sweden off to a good start with two medals (gold and silver in the women’s skiathlon) the first day. 8-)

Doing OK in the mixed curling as well, beating Switzerland and Italy today. Facing Canada tomorrow.

Yeah...Gallant and Petermen have lost 3 straight in mixed and are floundering.

They're in trouble.

Don't know your mixed team Per but are Anna Hasselborg and Niklas Edin leading your 4's?
