Might be the worst officiating I’ve seen for a while.

The entire first period they let everything go both ways. Fine. Then they come out and call weak shit like the one on Myers.

Calgary should easily have had the extra penalties on 2 or 3 of the scraps.

I am enjoying the emotion in the game though.

I wonder if Poindexersson would even have the chutzpah to go over the boards with the level of aggression in this one.

Soucy manning the point in the first PP unit. Yikes. He’s a quality 5/6 and a passable 4 with the right partner…..but when he’s on your 1st pairing and PP unit…..ouch.

This team is most certainly not in a window of contention.

Christ, Buncha Eeyores around here. This team is, essentially Miller, Boeser and a supporting cast who is running against averages. This team is not out of it. They have 20 minutes to tie it up.

I'm wondering what happens to Soucy since last year. He was a revelation of an addition but looks like he's second guessing every time he wants to make a play then gets turned around constantly.

The one 'lucky one' was actually Lankinen stopping a breaakaway and the D going for a skate on the reiound.

Until Hughes went down he was paired up with Myers after they looked so solid all last year when deployed together as our 2nd pair

Yeah. That’s what I mean. He’s a decent 2nd pair guys…..not the anchor, so #4. Then as a 5/6 he’s a beauty. So bottom-3.

In Seattle he anchored the third pairing for a couple of years.
