Re: Random Hockey Shit
The board may have taken a bit of a morale hit but it's still home. The players are all the same.
Some have been dealing with shit, some get busy, other can't handle other people having differing opinions.
Keep the babe shots coming cuz I still read everything here on the shitter and shit.

Luongo on Chiclets this week.
Readily admits to his infallabilities we are all painfully aware of.
Interesting conversation.

The offer sheet for Detroit was a pretty interesting tidbit. One wonders if he wins a cup with them, they still had a hell of a team.
Re: Random Hockey Shit
Yeah...I thought his admitting he was a nervous wreck who let media and fan chatter hamper his play was both telling and spoke to a maturing individual (although at this point that and 6 bucks gets you a Venti Latte at *Bucks).
Also it was pretty clear he was an emotional wreck in the Bruin series 2011.
As well his speaking to the fact he was a shit handler of the puck was interesting.
He's actually a pretty expressive and humorous dude.
But yeah.
In the end.
Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

If only he had accepted the OS. Pre-panic attack sufferer Cory Schneider would've likely led to a better result

I do t really understand how he's so venerated in Canuckland. He was a basket case the entire time he was there. Remember the Chicago meltdowns? The Turco flap?donlever wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:25 pmThe Luongo virus infected him.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:21 pm If only he had accepted the OS. Ever.
(I clearly remember killing him on a certain GDHTMB for the weak ass Havlat goal in the Chicago series we should have won....)
Certainly not by many here either as far as I can tell.
Typical adoration of the lovable loser in the Canuck Fandom realm.

Re: Random Hockey Shit
I saw they've mounted a huge tribute thing up in the ring around the ceiling at GM place with him and his number. Was it retired???? Is that the ring of honour? Why???donlever wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:53 pmDefinetly not be me.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:45 pm I do t really understand how he's so venerated in Canuckland.

The Ring of Honour
If they switch to blue pucks it will wash off.

The Great 8 off to his hottest goal scoring start ever and could potentially break 99's record in fewer games played than he.
29 in 44 is what he needs.
Amazing.
