When Edmonton becomes a more desirable place to play for players than Vancouver, you know it's bad. The dark days are upon us. Batten down the hatches. Load up on the anti-depressants.
I understood you to be in the "non-draftist" camp. Change your mind ?

This team needs feel a lil pain and stock the shelves Pacific Blue... U have been preaching this forever unfortunately I come to this site this summer and people wanna make the playoffs and people get their panties in a bunch over national predictions of how bad we could be... Like who cares in a perfect world I want to suck for 3-5 yrs...

This market is the biggest front running market in possibly all of professional team sports in North America... if u do not win here people don't go its not a stick together in good times in bad when the bad times hit people bitch and complain and don't go so unfortunately the club knows this and tries to pacify the fan base by making the playoffs...

It says alot to me how this club signs Jack Skille to a deal when if they did a better job at development then they could plug one of their own into the lineup like a YOUNG player... But this club is so locked into making the playoffs to appease a fan base that they bring in guys who are stop gap progress stoppers...

Sad but true. It's back asswards IMO. The Aqualinis are not hockey people. It's a family who are all about bottom line and profits. They don't care about tomorrow. To be honest, McCaw was a better owner

I've never said anything negative about Matthews.

But even with "a debut for the ages" it's wasn't enough.

The kid caught the Sens with their pants down.

Opposing teams will key on Matthews moving forward....
That second goal that everyone was raving about was a comedy of pond hokey errors by the Sens.......then the phenom takes the fall for cheating allowing the OT winner.
Yeah, I watched the game, Ottawa was horrible defensively.

(but still much better than the Leaves) :D

(Leafers are still all over Mr Andersen like they were Mr Reimer, Mr Bernier)

The Americano likely won't be scoring four goals in a game again anytime soon.

Leaves will continue to suck fiercely for all eternity...

HAHAHA Leaves blow a 4-goal lead tonight, lose 5-4 in OT.

Laine with the hattie, Andersen's sv% .876 on the year right now.

Jets were horrible defensively, Leaves horribler...

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Seeing Laine get that hattie just reminded me how fucking bad our luck is. We finish 3rd worse overall and fall to 5th. Winnipeg jumps up and takes Laine. Come on hockey gods...can't we catch a break?
