Coupled with the JML rumours of him going from the leaves back to the Avs as he and Miller are best friends and JML just got married back in Colorado. Rumour is if the Avs land Miller they will trade for JML.

I think most of us would disagree with that statement.

For example, his save percentage has actually gone UP since that particular point in time.

Docster...I can appreciate that you've evolved into the new defender of all that is Luongo around here but aren't you just the littlest bit worried about how he's going to look come April? The guy has a resume filled with epic playoff meltdowns and I just can't see any reason why these issues will have been put behind him.

Let's hope Eddy has some game come the playoffs because one more post season implosion like chicago x3 or Boston would likey see RLs NHL future on thin ice. And yes I mean this.

In 64 playoff games the guy has had 6 meltdowns. In all but a couple of them the team in front of him was equally, if not more, culpable.

My only concern with Luongo come playoffs is that his career SV% is .916 in the playoffs versus .918 in the regular season. Ideally you want a goaltender who has numbers that get better thru April and May and into June.

Believe it or not those are great numbers Dan.

The "meltdowns" actually boil down to a fraction of his total playoff games.

Every goaltender has a bad game every once in awhile Dan.

Like I say, most coaches would've yanked Lou earlier in those "meltdown" games.

But yeah AV didn't have any balls.

This was one of the Great Strangelove's reasons for demanding AV's head on a plate once upon a time.

Which would make him ball-less and head-less.

Also, if the theorized yankings had occurred, Lou's playoff numbers would theoretically be better.

My favourite part of that list is that the Nonis contract from 2006 and its $6.75 million cap hit would still be #4 after 8 years of cap inflation
