It's not about the fuckheads on the left or the right joking about a murder victim. It's about regular people making negative or less than praiseworthy comments about Kirk who got fired or arrested for it, yet the POTUS can spew all sorts of shit with no accountability. It's the MAGA double standard.

I spent a short amount of time listening to him (post assassination) and he didn't strike me as saying anything that should've enraged so many people this much...
Not advocating for or against anything the guy said as I didn't even know him before that but just wanting to put all this rage into context

My guess is that he attacked Taylor Swift - and the Swifties are a cabal of unruly, leftist tiktokers who likely orchestrated the hit themselves.

But honestly, not sure it was just one thing - it was just a constant diatribe against Black people, gays and women that caused most to feel he was a bit "off" with his remarks.
One of his quotes turned out to be quite prophetic as well:
"I think it’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the second amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational."
So, though some people are exclaiming this killing as horrific and unjustified, one could argue - if you asked Kirk himself, he would say it was rational, and that his death was a prudent deal to ensure America protects an amendment.
