I finally have remembered where I've seen Rossi's game before.

Derek Roy

:?

Go back and look at the scouting reports at the time. He's DR the 2nd.

You can't trash Miller as a piece of shit and a lazy cunt then continue to bitch about the return.

If he's as damaged and old and shitty as this board makes him out to be you got what you got and you weren't getting more.

So suck it up.

How one rabid emotional dejected Canuck fan feels about Miller doesn’t diminish his value on the trade market, just fans being fans.

Don’t go there. I don’t do Gillis anymore.

Which one fan is that?

He is pretty much universally lambasted here.

We're Zombie fans...we eat our own as well.as others.

Semantics, metaphor…the proverbial “us Canuck fans”. What I’m saying is how a fan base feels emotionally about a player isn’t necessarily how an inquiring team judges said player, that would be some piss poor pro scouting if you ask me. He had an enough value in the eyes of the “pros” to be added to Four Nations.

Damaged goods.

So Rossi had enough value in the eyes of pro scouts to be part of the Hughes trade then?

And Chytil enough value and medical clearance ditto?

Remains to be seen. I imagine through your cryptic highbrow speak, you are referencing the ask coming out of most fans and media on the return on Sherwood?? I don’t know. If one considers what Danault and Marchment returned it isn’t egregious for a fan to harmlessly suggest a first round pick is possible.

Tanner Jeannot is proof anything can happen.

Teams are probably reluctant to give up their 1st yet due to league wide parody. They want to see their teams over a longer run just in case they suffer injury or the like.

The ask being a 1st plus a prospect is rich especially this early. Desperate Jim Benning/Ken Holland/Mike Millbury types will sell their souls closer to the deadline

This will be a weird TDD because of all that parity as Cuz mentions. There will be a lot of managers trying to figure out whether their middle-of-the-pack-yet-still-in-the-playoffs is worth being a buyer or seller. There will be buyers who will have regret come June. Hope one of them buys our players.

Not being in on that playoff bubble is going to kill Cheap Bastard.

"We're still in the mix for two home playoff dates, isn't that right, Jimmy? Right Jimmy?"

Wait a minute…..aren’t they (mostly) the same wingers that Miller played with?
