Certainly. And I believe it is. I think voter supression is a bigger problem, ie people who should be allowed to vote, but are denied that right through different obstacles. I mean, voting on a week day? WtF? Of course a lot of the working poor won't show up. Elections should be held on a Sunday. Or do as in eg Italy and make election days a public holiday. Sure, the Italians also elect their fair share of nutjobs, but at least they get a decent voter turnout. Less than 60%? Deplorable.

Maybe you haven't heard but it's a huge problem in America.

I believe something like 7% of the US population are "non-citizens".

It's hard to gather exact data on how many illegals vote, but studies have been done:

And note the estimated number of illegals has increased from ~19mil in 2008 to ~23mil today.

There is a good chance, given Trump's anti-illegals rhetoric that illegals were out in full force to oppose him.
