Fabbro projects at best a poor mans Dan Hamhius, I wouldn’t sell the farm. Seeing a lot of high drafted Canadian D-men flaming out in the NHL over the last few years. Fabbro could be another in a long line of many

Hamhuis is a decent comparison but I wouldn’t call him a poor mans Hamhuis. He is a RH shot and playsxin all situations. I really liked his game at the WJC a couple years back. I wouldn’t sell the farm for him neither..... cue the Boeser for Fabbro rumours ....

I’d probably do Olaf for him straight across. Dahlen and a pick? Not sure why the Preds would do those deals. They are stacked at D right now so I have no idea how he cracks that top 4 in the next few years.

What on the Canucks roster would be attractive to Nashville at the deadline?

Nashville has a well rounded line up, they are in win now mode so swapping futures makes zero sense. They are probably looking at depth moves and where they are the thinnest. Mid aged Veterans not prospects or picks

I’d rather have Philip Myers in Philly than Fabbro. He’s finally over his injury battles and looks to be the excellent prospect we saw in him at the WJC. The Flyers are a mess, but he’s most likely an untouchable. I get a sense that Nolan Patrick won’t last in Philly the way Johanson didn’t last in Columbus. He’s most likely Philly’s trading chip.

Myers looks damn good. Another guy to look at might be Connor Timmins. You’re likely right about Nashville wanting now type guys. Both Nashville and Colorado have deep blueline depth throughout their organizations. It’s a shame Sven Baertschi is so bloody injury prone. He would be a great guy to fatten up and ship out. He’s youngish has decent two way skills and is signed for two more years beyond this one. If he could ever get untracked I could see him being attractive to a team to plunk into their top 9.

Blob, I wouldn’t label Hughes as just a specialist type dman, he’s gonna be a possession beast and he’ll play all minutes.

100%

The puck is on his stick all the time, skating is through the roof, breaking ankles all the time, pisitinslly sound, gap control is excellent, excekkevt puck retriever and skating out of danger with. He’s not just a PP specialist whom Blob likes to make him out to be

I hear there are serious concerns with Timmins regarding concussions

I don’t think Philly is trading Myers but he’d be a catch. I do have interest in Fabbro, due to him being a right shot D-man

Well, you might as well have. We read your tea leaves loud and clear, Roberto.

You downgrade him cause he’s a Benning pick. Just say it, clear the table of all those empty Booze bottles, time to come clean

Just like I said trade Boeser for Larson, Subban, Karlsson, and Letang
