Judging by their NHL play, you'd never think Hellbuyck or Binnington would ever be chosen for their countries in international tournaments.

Geez, Radlko Gudas just destroyed Auston Matthews' knee deliberately. That was ugly.

Disagree. Not deliberate. Unfortunate, but I don’t think knee on knee was intentional there at all. It certainly was not Ulf on Cam…..

Yes, it was, he stuck his knee way the fuck out there and made knee on knee contact.

If that isn't deliberate, then deliberate doesn't exist.

Just noticed Shesterkin is having an awesome season - 40 games played and a .918 save percentage.
Considering playoff-wise the Rags are dead and buried, the rest of the team must be just awful if they can’t win in front of that goaltending,
JT leading with a minus 24.
Canucks dodged a bullet getting rid of that contract.
Mind you, their body is still riddled with bullets, but at least that one missed.

Just imagine if they hadn't thrown the pick into the Meaty trash bin and drafted that promising young player that Pitt did with the pick

I 100% agree with Megs on this one Mëds. He literally lead with his knee, he was caught so out of position on that play, and came charging back as Matthews was left wide open in front - and tried to get any piece of him. No one checks like that, if they don't intend on taking out the legs.

He has been suspended 4 times already by the league, for hits to the head, and one really bad one - can't remember completely, but he slashed some guy in the neck or something.

We will see a lengthy suspension on this one (as mentioned he is a repeat offender) - this was completely avoidable.

Guess has a conference call hearing - max he can get is 5 games.

Put me down in the column that this was deliberate, he seemed to have gotten a taste for injury stars during the Olympics.

Thought that was the Canucks for a second, since nobody challenged Gudas.

Ugly hit for sure, and while maybe not an 'intent to injure' - he went out of his way to get his knee in there. But then, he does have a history. He just doesn't seem to give a shit about other players.
