Remember Steve Armitage at the CBC? Everytime I saw him around the downtown studios or reporting in the streets, he looked like WC Fields... all red faced with a huge, red bulbous nose.

Armitage was a wrinser for sure. Helmet Head fathered a child with Constable Ann Drennan that plays for the Sabres now. So was Mckeachie. Fucking marble mouth Mckeachie. The only saving grace for that guy was that he did land some good guests somehow. Otherwise he was an idiot with horrible delivery and worse people skills.
McKeachie is a great guy....
In a previous work like I was a Banker and dealt with a number of sports personalities, including some in the media....

I’m sure he was a great guy. He’s still an idiot and has the polish of a Neanderthal. I remember him mouthing off and Tiger either shoved or threatened him. Hf just stood there like a deer in headlights.
I’ve heard Mckeachie do a number of interviews where he basically insults the person he was interviewing and the guest is pissed off. Not a really astute guy but as I said he did always manage to get good guest when working at the TEAM in its infancy. Then he’d learn a new word or two and almost always use them out of context. I remember Pratt and Moj used to imitate him all the time calling him Mcgoochie. “Vis a vis and nothwistanding” is how he led off a few times.
