I don't get the broadcast team's puzzlement.

You're not allowed to leave your feet for a hit. The call is "charging" whether you're moving or not. It was pretty clear cut.

As for that call, the PbP guy actually read the passage in the rule book regarding charging live on air after the replay. Never heard that before!

The refs owe the Canucks a few non-calls. That should’ve been one of them.
