Yeah, they’re looking a little wobbly and the Sharks are smelling blood.

I know all there is to know about the crying game
I've had my share of the crying game
First there are wins, then there are loses
And then before you know where you are in the standings
You're sayin' goodbye to the playoffs
One day soon I'm gonna tell the moon about the crying game
And if he knows, maybe he'll explain
Why there are wins, why there are loses?
And what to do to stop feeling blue when wins disappears?
First there are wins, then there are loses
And then before you know where you are in the standings
You're sayin' goodbye to the playoffs
Don't want no more of the crying game
Don't want no more of the crying game

Seems the tide completely changes every time I come back from the 2nd intermission.
Aren't you on holiday, theman?

Although the last 2 teams were not top tier teams at least I saw the players getting shots through and passes were a little better.
Lankininen deserves to sit the rest of the season on the bench, hell send him to the minors and get his some games down there, anything for him to some sort of a resemblance to an NHL goalie. I know y’all want to see the team to lose but I do not want to see pure crap goaltending be why night after night because it will be discouraging to the younger players and their growth.
Bright spot was seeing EP40 looking a little more like he was 3 seasons ago. Maybe it wasn’t just JT but also Hughes?

You do realize that it was Merilainen, NOT Lankinen, who was in net last night…..or did you not see that?2Fingers wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2026 10:05 am Although the last 2 teams were not top tier teams at least I saw the players getting shots through and passes were a little better.

Pretty decent first two periods. Building on the game before. More possession again.
When it unraveled, it unraveled because they fell into all of the problems that plagues the east coast trip. The number of missed passes was astounding. Failure to mark. Goal 1 against, Sushi takes panicky interference penalty after a turnover -- the turnover's part of the game, the penalty was all "shit, that's Celebrini breaking free." I get it, but that PP v. the Canucks PK has to score at some point. Goal 2, though, that's where it is really inexcusable. Clean draw, and EP25, with as much time as you will ever get off a D-zone faceoff, chucks it up wall, winger not there yet (holding up his wing), success is an icing, what was the point? Hronek tips the shot (why?) and Canucks puck watch/chase instead of mark. Third goal is a well executed center lane drive to draw the RD off the puck carrier, though on the replay it looks like LD can cover. Perhaps poor communication, but still not a high danger chance. Levi took a terrible angle, lost his net completely. Goalie error.
Lose by one, as it should be.
