Interesting take on McKenna from scouts being interviewed at the combine. The gist of it is he is going to be a regular season star who doesn't move the needle once the intensity ramps up. A guy who racks up the points but doesn't win you the big games come spring
The Panarin comparable rears it's head again
This is one comparable I read, another had him as a Patrick Kane or Nikita Kucherov comps due to his elite offensive vision, high hockey IQ, and elusiveness.

More interwebs rumours have the NYR wanting to move into the top 3 apparently targeting either Stenberg or Malhotra.
Would you move #3 for #5 and their 2027 first round pick?
We'd still get one of Stenberg, Malhotra, Carels, Verhoeff assuming McKenna and Reid go 1-2.
Unless the Nucks are 100% locked onto their guy at 3rd, I would do it. The Rangers 2027 1st should be a good pick too. I don't see much difference between 3 and 5 this year, but then again, they don't pay me to know.

If the Rangers 2027 1st was unprotected, I would make that trade.
