Funny thing is that only 3 of those players were effective for us in those playoffs.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

How do we still have Kane? Reports are he has a flu, not season ending injuries. Given the over-payment on some of the other crap today, Kane wityh half retained was worth a 2nd all day long. Allvin should be publicly caned for not trading kane. Livestream it, with proceeds to Canucks for Kids.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

With Van being willing to retain, that is a surprise. Not even a 6th?Tciso wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:16 pm How do we still have Kane? Reports are he has a flu, not season ending injuries. Looking at the bright side, with Sherwood gone, we might be able to complete the season without having a single 20 goal scorer on the team. Can I get a "Hoo Yeah!"

Unfortunately those extra logos don't really move the needle much when they aren't in the 1st and 2nd columns.

Alvin says he got no offers for Kane or Blueger
Asked if he will try to re-sign Blueger he said we’ll see. I know he likes it here.
Asked why he picked up the big dude on waivers he said we want to give some of our prospects an chance and doesn’t want them to get beat up.mention Lekkermaki then remembered he is out with shoulder surgery.

Still 2.5 after retention. He's not worth that to a contender who is trying to squeeze in pieces for a runtheman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:20 pmWith Van being willing to retain, that is a surprise. So after several years of AHL thugs killing our kids and 2 or 3 violence induced injuries to Sushi Boy alone they NOW suddenly realize a deterrent might be in order.
