Re: Random Hockey Shit
Just for fun.
Best hockey I ever watched.
On the replay watch Hawerchuk with a little interference tug at centre ice to create open space for 66.
No one noticed in real time or on replay.

The 6-5 series, three great games. May have to pull the DVD's from the shelf and watch again.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Agreed and remove both the trapezoid as well as the penalty for corking the goalie when he's out of the net handling the puck.
If you need air...call it in
Re: Random Hockey Shit
Would be on board with that provided (as you say) they made the goalie fair game and/or called him for diving and interference as appropriate.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 1:15 pmAgreed and remove both the trapezoid as well as the penalty for corking the goalie when he's out of the net handling the puck.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

I saw that one the other day, and it just made long for the days when this team could hold its own.

Diduck was one of the underrated parts of the '94 run. Guy was a savage against Calgary that year. Solid defender. Just didn't have much offense to him. Like a faster, more skilled Robert Dirk who landed more fists than he caught.

Wonder how Jets fans feel about it, after how many no-shows from Helleybuck in the playoffs.

Re: Random Hockey Shit
Look out for the Lesnar boys in the near future... genetic freaks like their sister and old man, WWE and UFC legend, Brock Lesnar. Some of you may know Brock spends part of his time as a Saskatchewan farmer and has dual Canadian/US citizenship.
Turk Lesnar (16), I believe was born in Canada while his brother Duke (15) was born in Minnesota, are both playing in Alberta leagues.
Turk plays D and in a few years might kill someone with a bodycheck. He's still developing and I don't think he's considered a decent prospect (yet), but Duke was just drafted to the WHL by the MH Tigers.
Ya never know though, Turk could turn into a Byfuglien type of D
Keep an eye on these guys...
