Has EP done a single bench-press or squat in his life? How do you get muscled off the puck by old man Tavares so easily? Then sluggo McCabe does the same thing to him right after that.
1 for 12 in the FO dot.
OMG. I tuned in for the OT.....saw that run of play.
Hey Petey! Do your dekes!
.....oh nevermind.
His shootout attempt right on the heels of Nylander's showed us all why he held out to deservedly get more than Willie.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

That being said, keeping OEL would have been much better than paying him to be elsewhere, then spending a 1st for Meaty.
Not sure Mëds would be able to survive two overpaid Swedes in the lineup.
Think of that 1st as a salve for our fellow poster's soul.
I actually liked OEL. Only thing I hated was the term of his deal when considering his age. He underperformed here, but outside of 2023-24 so did every Canuck not named JT or Quinn.
Well, EP40 at 11.6, and OEL at 8.25 - 20 million in cap taken up by a bunch of under performing Swedes.

Sounds like your version of heaven.
One thing about Swedes, they don't get cheated on money.

Just give him the 'C' already. What's holding this up?

Oooh now you're talking Megs! Top-3 pick for 3 straight years right there.
On the bright side, the leaves winning a few games here may give them the impression they can still make the playoffs, which they won’t, and make them hesitant to compete with the Canucks in the TDL sell off. Kane and Kampf have little enough trade value, reducing comparable options is a good thing.

LOL, that was my dilemma with this game. No way I wanted to lose to the leaves BUT if they think they can still compete they wont be sellers. I'm ok with the point. Nice to see Lekkerimaki and Wilander both score. Nice to see Tolipilo play well. Soon the Olympic break and we can have 3 weeks non stop of hockey trade rumours. Hopefully Blueger plays well for Latvia and gets a lot of notice. Maybe Kampf plays lights out for Czechia and gets a lot of notice. Maybe Pettersson gets inspired. Maybe Lankinen suffers a season ending injury.
Get all the kids down to Abbotsford so they can play.
