Why the fuck would we want a 27 year old whose ceiling seems to be a 0.5 PPG winger?

I know, I know, Donny.....I saw your social media disclaimer. My question was for the sake of rhetorical discussion.

The Canucks hired him as a pro scout - JR is now paying him from two different organizations at the same time (Pens are still paying the buyout JR initiated).

Nice gesture after what his parents did to him, but maybe not the right move for a franchise with zero connection to the guy. Time will tell I suppose..

Me neither, I wasn’t sure if don’s link specifically mentioned it or not but here’s the tweet from the org:

The link does mention it yes

Its the whole reason I posted it.

My give a shit meter re Jack Johnson retiring would otherwise be pretty low.

It's how we do it around these parts, as you well know. A hybrid retool on the fly requires fuel . As I noted previously, an American forward precisely fits the profile we're looking for. A shame he's not an undrafted college guy though...

Thanks Don

I clink on the link and it wants me to sign up. No mention of anything, otherwise.

I used to get all my hockey related stuff from Twitter, but then I got booted and couldn’t be bothered to sign up with a new account, this was 3-4 years ago. I really don’t spend any time on socials with the exception of FB marketplace.

I come here for news, and Donnie posts links on Insta

I get crucified either way lol.

Post a link and it's apparently there to mirror my thoughts unless I clearly state the alternate reality.....

Don't post it and get challenged to back up my written word.
