Worth pointing out that Pettersson has also been sidelined for these 3 wins.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Dec 19, 2025 5:01 pm Looks like Quit was indeed the problem. lol
Liking Rossi. He isn’t a number one centre but for sure z2nd line. Real hockey smarts. Man we could be good soon.
But either way you look at it, who knew that trading away the best player to ever put on a Canucks jersey would be the ticket to winning 3 straight games for the first time this year?!
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Funny you mention that Fingers.....I had that passing thought and chuckled.
It may be nothing, but I remember when Hughes missed a couple games earlier in the season that our PP actually looked better. They moved the puck with more crispness and actually saw way better chances on the PP, and IIRC connected on a few more of the opportunities.
As magical as it was to watch Quinn embarrass PK'ers, there were plenty of times that the rest of the PP unit looked lost as they tried to figure out what the next move was. It could just be that he was on another level entirely and the rest couldn't come along.

So, I missed this one, and caught the highlights.
3 wins a row without Hughes or Petey? Interesting times.
Should we go for 4?
