The City of Vancouver and Vancouver Whitecaps FC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enter an exclusive negotiation period through 2026 to explore a new stadium and entertainment district at Hastings Park.

Great news, still need BC Place (BC government) to step up and make concessions on revenue sharing for 4-5 years - the time it would take to build the new stadium. The Whitecaps are top 5 in the league in attendance but 2nd to last in revenues. Goes to show you why they are frustrated.
