Nick Tarnasky beating up that idiot on the golf course is gold. Golf is becoming a full contact sport in Canada.

“Bam!”

The Batman sound affects while he’s punching is gold.

Meh! It looks like the Coilers traded O'Reilly (with a higher ceiling) for a guy who is hopefully ready to play 4th line minutes. Of course, the Coiler faithful are saying he's gonna outscore Matthews....

The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

The best analogy I've heard is from Shayne Malloy who is a prospect guru and he compares it to Major League Baseball with their minor system of Single A and Double A and Triple A and then the Majors...Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 5:24 pm CHL will become a league where 3rd and 4th rounders are drafted from, the best Canadian kids will play their draft year in the NCAA. The star attraction element, lack thereof, could hurt at the gate for some of the CHL clubs
CHL would be like Single A, College Double A, the AHL Triple A and then the NHL...
An example of who would have benefited from the new system is a Shayne Wright who was too good for major junior but not ready for the NHL and as a result was playing under 10 minutes a game in the NHL and was later sent to the AHL as an 18/19 year old where again he was not ready but had no where else to go...
He could have left major junior for college and spent 2 or 3 or even 4 years there before moving up to the NHL...
The USHL has been dealing with college competition for years and doing quite fine so Malloy isn't worried about the CHL long term future as a result of the new rules...
Take care...

Should the Canucks try and convince Bang Bang Tarnasky to come out of retirement?
