Didn't take Montgomery long to land on his feet.

Watch the Blues uptick now over the next season and a half.

A lot of questions being asked of Bruin management, Sweeny and Neely over the coaching carousel.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yeah...that and their shitty lineup.

...the Lindholm/Zadorov contracts are a topic of concern in Beantown as well.

Bruin fans thought they were getting Krejci #2 and Chara "light" it seems....

We know full well how disappointing Lindholm ended up being after we also dumped a large wad to acquire him.

He had one magical season and a bunch of 50-60 point meh years.

He redeemed himself to a degree when the second season began but holy fuck bro....where were you for the rest of the time???

Glad Calgary traded him to Vancouver for a pretty decent haul. He wasn't the same after Chucky and Johnny left Calgary. He is a support guy, not one to carry a line.

Lindholm did struggle to acclimate himself when he arrived in Van, but once the playoffs arrived, he was money on the draw, as a shut down/pk centre and alleviated some tougher duties from Miller.

Admittedly, I expected more from him in Boston centering Pasta and Marchand. End of the day, the Bruins just don’t have the depth they’ve always had after having an HoF core.

Neely’s days may be numbered if Boston doesn’t squeak into the playoffs.

Is Michkov better than Connor Bedard?

Michkov is really really good, plus he's entertaining, and it will be fun to watch them both develop their games further.

I don't have an opinion on the question, but from what I've seen of Michkov, it's not an outrageous claim to make -- and of course why not make it as Bedard is struggling a little. But Michkov has got +++ offensive skill and intelligence. Lots of ragging on his all around game, but it takes time for kids to figure that out and there hasn't been enough time to know whether this is something that he will just improve on through experience and work. Honestly, Bedard doesn't look that great to me defensively either, though I have a fair amount of confidence that he will get there.

I’ve watched a few of the Blackhawk games this year and Bedard looks shockingly lousy. Not sure what happened to him but he looks lost.

Olivier is tuning up a willing combatant- perhaps overmatched in Pospisil.... So Brayden Pachal wraps up Olivier from behind and Olivier eats a half dozen shots from Posposil. No penalty at all on the play. Should be a 3rd man in. The tards at Bingo's tard farm apparently didn't see it.Yet they screamed with rage in 2015 playoffs when Dan Hamhuis stepped into help an overmatched Derek Dorsett against knuckle dragger Derek Engeland. Congrats Bingo. Never change.

That’s quite a lot of quality futures the Wild gave up for Jiricek. Unfortunately for Alvin and the Ancient one, they’ve tapped that well dry since their inception. They have really can’t be continuing on thinning out the prospect pipeline more than they already have.

That's a lot to give up for a kid with less than 60 NHL games under his belt. Even if we had the picks to spare, I would [not] want us to pull a deal like this.

Presumably you meant would not.

It's a lot of futures for sure.

Whether they are quality or not remains to be seen.

Intrawebz honks had:

Hoglander
Kudryatsev
2025 1st
3rd or a 4th in 26/27 (I don't recall which and can't quickly find the post so meh)

So.

Yeahno.
