If, for whatever reason, the play-in cannot be completed....the remaining bottom 8 teams will have a one-in-eight shot at the top selection

After today’s lottery results I must say, I wouldn’t mind being eliminated in the round robin to get that 12.5% equal chance at drafting Lafrenierre. Thank Fuck Benning Lotto protected the 1st in the Miller Trade, unlike Calgary in the Hamonic trade, Blobbees “Stud” favourite!!

"IF" there's a play in. If we lose to the Wild. We have a 12.5% shot at #1. this year.

2018: 7.5%
2017: 12.1%
2016: 11.5%

When the season was stopped, we had 14 games left. Boeser had returned. Markstrom too. My thought are, we were about to go on
a bit of a run. Maybe 20+ points. In any case, I think we were making the playoffs. The normal ones. That weren't ...cause of the damn bug.
I actually doubt they can do the playoffs now but if it happens, our team will have gotten together, got back in shape, practiced; almost like
a mini training camp, and so on.
So, like, I'm not a huge fan of the Canucks making their first championship the covid cup, so I respectfully suggest a shot at the first round.

Okay, just checked, if the season gets cancelled, it gets really fucked up.
I’m not sure the Canucks will be in the second lottery.
They are tied in points percentage with Nashville and the Islanders.
All three have the same points percentage of .565.
I don’t know what the tie breakers would be, or even if the NHL has thought about tie breakers for this situation?
One of those teams will finish 15th overall and be in the lottery.
The other two will finish 14th and 13th and be out of the lottery.

Forget that last post. I must be drunk. Sorry it should be Panthers, Canucks and Preds are tied in points percentage.
But the Canucks have fewer regulation wins and would finish behind them in the standings.
So, if the season is cancelled the Canucks should be the last team in the lottery.
And I think the Preds and Panther would be out.
