I don't see what this has to do with the leaves - but the leaves and Ford would be the same pile. Maybe they could just not take their trash out to the HHOF.okcanuck wrote:I love it, Rob Ford, Toronna Maple Laughs, same shit different pile.
In the end, just another reason to hate Toronto.

Rob Ford is a "huge" leaves fan, season ticket holder

According to Brooksie, Tortorella's favourite trout, the Kings locked Sutter out of their locker room post game.
Twice after road losses. LOL

Can we toss Sutter's stetson into the leaves viper pit?Brooks writes:
Slap Shots has been told by two sources that the Kings locked the door to their locker room following a defeat on the road within the last two weeks so that Sutter could not get in and deliver what the players apparently expected to be another in a series of lectures/tirades.
As the tale was told, after Sutter finally tracked down an arena operative to unlock the door, he was greeted by three heavy waste receptacles lined up as barricade to what had become an empty room.

I find everything about that hard to believe, except for the fact that Brooks wrote it.Brooks writes:

Fate is funny. He took ver a club of under achievers who were outside the playoffs, led them through the end of the year to lock up a playoff spot on the last day of the season and then onto their first cup. Reminded them when they were down 3-0 to SJS that they could win any game seven and they just needed to play every game as a game seven, led them to their second cup in three years, and now the players tune him out.
LA missed the playoffs and the excuses have started, they have played so much hockey, blah, blah blah. Detroit hasn't missed the playoffs in over 1000 years. Chicago still competes every year. LA lost because they are arrogant. They expected to turn it on at will and penciled in wins against Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary to end the season. They mailed it in.
Sutter would be perfect in Toronto

Regehr to announce retirement now that season is done.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
If ownership/management in LA makes a change behind the bench, they are retarded.
If the story is true and the players, who were totally unable to get it done before Sutter showed up, have tuned out the coach that brought them together and guided them to a pair of Stanley Cups in 3 seasons, I think there needs to be a change made on the roster.
