They could be more on schedule if they didn’t wait to start the rebuild in Jan 2017. It’s actually gone remarkably well considering they are three years in.

Either way it’s getting tiresome to listen to a skulleted man constantly complaining about being tossed out of the shower. Your lucky all you got was a handful of hair ripped out and you had to patch your tights. Things could have gone much worse for a young Chef.

Big game for Björklöven tonight vs Modo.

With twelve games left on the regular season Björklöven are in the lead:

1. BJÖRKLÖVEN (141:65) 95
2. MODO............. (158:98) 88
========================
3. TIMRÅ............. (127:95) 78
4. KARLSKOGA (160:113) 76

Now, when the regular season ends, the two teams at the top of the standings play eachother in a best out of five series. The winner is named SHA champion and gets to challenge the team finishing last in the SHL over a slot there next season, in a best out of seven series.

Meanwhile the teams finishing 3-8 all play each other in a playoff to the playoff. It's slightly tilted in that the teams finishing 3-5 all play three home games and only two road games, while it is the reverse for the teams finishing 6-8. Also, the team that came third has three bonus points, the fourth place team 2 and the 5th place team 1.

Anyway, the team at the top of the standings after all five rounds have been played faces the team that lost the SHA final in a best out of three series.The winner of that series then gets to face the team finishing second to last in the SHL in a best out of seven series over an SHL slot.
It's complicated.

With just 12 games remaining I cannot see how either of Timrå or Karlskoga could possibly pass Björklöven in the standings, and it is even fairly safe to say they will finish first in th eregular season. They then just need to beat Modo to get to that seven game series against the worst SHL team, which will most likely be Oskarshamn.

Oskarshamn stunned everyone last season when they managed to get promoted. It's the one and only season they have ever played in the SHL, and they're a crap team that almost certainly will get demoted again. Thus Björklöven looks to have a really good shot at finally returning to the SHL, where they haven't played since the 2000/2001 season.

I'm truly excited!  8-)
