Re: LOL
IgorGonzola got banned for being upfront and honest about Igor’s associations. On the the assumption “he may cause trouble” when clearly he wasn’t. What kind of dictatorship are they running over there? No fair trial! Assumption!! Read the transcript. Igor was towing the company line, respecting site rules. Not good enough apparently. An injustice

Gorgonzola is a very good quality cheese by the way. One of Chefs favourites.

Doc, I don’t know about you but I think that the likes of MS and Melvin and Y2K etc will not appreciate being considered “fringe” “weird” hockey fans by Brian Burke, a person they feel they are smarter than.Hank wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 3:56 pm Love me some truculent Burkie.
I like how Sportsnet/HNIC, especially Friedman and Oake, have no problem trolling the Twitterers by highlighting their stupidity on national tv.
I mentioned that on the After Hours segment with JT Miller, that Oake was trying to get him to bite by showing some of the worst, most ridiculous tweets immediately after the trade.
But they saved the last one (no coincidence, I'm sure) for the current editor of Canucks Army. Readers there are reminding him of his embarrassing tweet and trying to make him eat crow.
These "fan" sites like CA and HF just can't handle a rebuild.

Lol seriously?! That's brilliant! I boycotted After Hours after the weird super awkward interview with Tyler Myers b-day "tell me about how you felt when your newborn son almost died"Hank wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 3:56 pm Love me some truculent Burkie.

I assume he was toeing the line, as in not crossing it, rather than sitting in a tugboat (or towtruck) and dragging it somewhere, amirite?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:04 pm IgorGonzola got banned for being upfront and honest about Igor’s associations. I'll never forget a Scott Oak incident from many years ago.
The Sens had just knocked the Leaves out of the playoffs courtesy of a Daniel Alfredsson goal.
An ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS Scott Oak catches up with Alfy a few minutes later and yells at him:
"DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT GOAL SHOULD HAVE COUNTED AFTER THAT MISSED PENALTY?!!"
(Alfy and a Leaf had accidentally collided a few seconds before the goal in a game in which the refs had put the whistles away)
The look on Alfredsson's face, I'll tell ya!
But of course CBC has always remained completely unbiased when two Canadian teams are involved.

Re: LOL
You would think so, right? But Oake was like "tell me what you were feeling when they told you your baby was going to die", and Myers just said nope I'm not talking about that, Myers handled it well but it was suuuper awkward tv.
That's why I only turn to Doc for Leaves coverage.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 1:44 pm [quote="The Brown Wizard" post_id=366801

Re: LOL
If I’m a guessing man, this Canucks season would that much more enjoyed by the Pro Tank crowd if Benning wasn’t the GM? It seems to me that the staunch Pro Tank activists are more about getting Benning fired than getting a top lottery pick??

It's funny I listened to the team for the first time in a while and they've doubled down on the ridiculous twitter fan base, they were still criticising the Miller trade ffs, but Sportsnet is calling out the noisiness of the pants-wetting, can't-handle-a-rebuild crew.![]()
It'll be nice when the Seattle Seagulls enter and these traitors leave...
Can retards be traitors, or are they just confused?!?
... and if they are proven traitors, can we send them to meowshwitz??
