I'm surprised Gardiner waited all this time and got a lesser contract (term-wise) than his last one. No raises, not a single penny more.

His back must be scaring teams off.

Yeah that back injury probably cost him $2M-per year and/or more term.

The back injury and the fact that he’s a shitty poker player. You can’t tell me he wouldn’t have gotten better offers on July 1st.

Dunno, maybe teams wanted to talk to doctors about his back first?

He’s a flawed player for sure but that is cheap for a second pairing guy. If he can stay healthy it’s a better contract than Myers got. Thing is Vancouver has s bit more depth on the left side and had a hole on the right side.

JG was honest; I'm getting older>>contending teams only. Didn't sound like it was "all" about the money. Was thanked by Babcock,
never heard anything from Dubas through the whole thing...
Even when dumbass is frugal he's an ass.
Simply a terrible GM.

Gardiner is worse than Myers, gardiner has always had a good d partner Myers has played with bums in Winnipeg and carried them.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Hargraves doesn’t think either of them are that great sand would rate both and of them behind Chris Tanev and Alex Edler. So they are both basically #4 d men.

You know what would help me sleep, getting a nice back rub from the doyle, followed by one of the infamous Doyle bj’s sans denture.

Hargraves thinks career 17+ minutes Sutter is a 4th line forward.

It helps Hargraves sleep at night.
