When you're a mod and 92.5% of your forum says this poster is a bad guy

It's always been that way here over the decades. One big game.
Over there right now?

Would you agree that we should still have targeted a dman? Or in other words would you rather have mcavoy over Tkachuk?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 7:37 am They also needed wingers at the time. It was a bad pick, glad you agree. Bridge under the water. I’m over it. Just had to once again explain to Aldo that I don’t love the player (Tkachuk), I hated the pick. He either has trouble with English or he just wants to derail another thread.
This thread is for poking fun at the tards at the tard farm.

The Canucks were riddled with holes everywhere heading into the 2016 draft. They should have targeted the best skater regardless of position.

Re: LOL
It’s not as an erroneous of an error not drafting Tkachuk as the moaners will have you believe. It’s classic after the fact pissing festival led by the Angry.
The 3 drafts prior the Canucks drafted Horvat, Shinkaruk, Virtanen, Demko and Boeser. They were well represented in two of the 3 most important positions in the game, goaltending and centre but heavy on the wing and zilch on defence due to the fact that Gillis couldn’t draft a top 4 defenceman to save his life and that the last GM to to do any good in that department was Nonis - Edler and Bourdon. So they drafted by need, and it didn’t work out INSTANTANEOUSLY, big fucking deal. I got some inside info for the pee’ers, the Juolevi Book hasn’t been written oh impatient ones, so get the fuck over Tkachuk and move on.
When it comes to drafting 18 year olds ya don’t hit on everyone, not ground breaking news, ask the Oilers about this, but Jimmy has done a pretty good job considering the odds
The Tkachuk miss is the no. 1 beef beaten down like a dead horse, non-stop, by the HF Canuck Benning Tear-jerkers. OCD and Beyond.

Re: LOL
Got fuck all to do with Gillis. Elmer picked a far shittier player in Olaf. End of story.
Bourdon was not a top 4 d man. Don’t pull shit out of your ass. That was another terrible pick. RIP Luc.
And the Canucks weren’t heavy at any position. They had zero organizational depth heading into the 2016 draft.

The reason it never end is because RD cannot stop comparing Gillis to JB.Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 7:31 am Good advice dude. Its been argued about enough now.
I wonder what we see at camp out of ollie. Realistically hes been out for almost a year and should be pretty rusty. Hopefully fans and the team preach some patience while he catches up in Utica

With zero organizational depth you should still prioritize a dman over a forward just with the time it takes a dman to develop.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 12:08 pm Got fuck all to do with Gillis. Elmer picked a far shittier player in Olaf. End of story.

Re: LOL
I think the Canucks hiring Salo to help develop Juolevi is a strong/wise move.
OJ seems like he'll at least top out as a top 4 dman that has sneaky scoring ability, a true blue chipper dman that is hard to get anyways in the league, having Edler/Benn here for two more years while Hughes and Juolevi develop is a fine piece of work by JB.
Not to mention Tryamkin LD/RD making his way over as well next year likely.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Not when there is a massive gap in talent between the d man and the forward. If they are equal, sure take the d man.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 1:02 pmWith zero organizational depth you should still prioritize a dman over a forward just with the time it takes a dman to develop.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 12:08 pm Got fuck all to do with Gillis.
