None of those trades were bad, other than maybe running Gelinas out of town . The Linden trade was an ass raping of the Islanders. Linden was a very overrated player during his first tenure here. Keenan did what Pat Quinn was too lazy to do.

Yeah well probably not a great idea to have a psychopath at the helm.

And aside from the blind-squirrel-finding-a-nut Linden trade

He wasn’t here long enough to make more than one amazing trade. The other trades were inconsequential considering the losers he traded. He did the dirty work Pat Quinn couldn’t do

Let's not forget how he screwed Luongo in Florida and gift wrapped him for Nonis. Why? Because Luongo had the nerve to hold out for what he felt he was worth and sucked up to Panthers ownership. Keenan showed him who was boss even though everyone thought Luongo's new deal was all but done. It cost Keenan his job in Florida eventually.

But carry on. Best GM we ever had. One very good/great trade and all else is forgiven. And it was a very good trade for us, one that eventually helped us grab both twins to boot.

I don’t remember saying he was the best gm here but carry on..... mind you it’s a short bus full of midgets to compare to. I could give two fucks what Keenan did in Florida. He did a good or job here in his short tenure and is what others were too scared or too stupid to do.
