Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yes you were never one to be hamstrung by sentiment in regards to Trev, Cody, or any other player. :)

But if you were GM you probably wouldn't want to spark over-sentimental lynch-mobs.

Yes I know you were merely trying to awaken the masses to the truth about their heroes.

And yes, as they say, no good deed goes unpunished.

Yeah well probably not a great idea to have a psychopath at the helm.

And aside from the blind-squirrel-finding-a-nut Linden trade

... the combined effect of all those other trades was fairly brutal.
Other than losing Gelinas the other trades were fine. Odjick , Babych and McLean were all done. Sanderson was a wimp and the heist of McCabe , Bertuzzi and Ruutu for Linden tips the balance in Keenan’s favour big time.

Umm well your little psychobuddy traded your hero Gelinas for the wimp Sanderson!

And please stop repeating the Linden trade, no one is arguing against that one.

(or is that all you got?)

Yes Captain Hook's obsession with Bert led to one great Bertuzzi trade

... and one horrible Bertuzzi trade a few years later.

Easy to run down the players shipped out

... but can you name any good players/assets he got in return?

(aside from the Linden trade)

He wasn’t here long enough to make more than one amazing trade. The other trades were inconsequential considering the losers he traded. He did the dirty work Pat Quinn couldn’t do

Hockey Widow wrote:Let's not forget how he screwed Luongo in Florida and gift wrapped him for Nonis. Why? Because Luongo had the nerve to hold out for what he felt he was worth and sucked up to Panthers ownership. Keenan showed him who was boss even though everyone thought Luongo's new deal was all but done. It cost Keenan his job in Florida eventually.

But carry on. Best GM we ever had. One very good/great trade and all else is forgiven. And it was a very good trade for us, one that eventually helped us grab both twins to boot.
I don’t remember saying he was the best gm here but carry on..... mind you it’s a short bus full of midgets to compare to. I could give two fucks what Keenan did in Florida. He did a good or job here in his short tenure and is what others were too scared or too stupid to do.

Hell, I have applauded Elmer for having balls and tearing this shitbag of a team apart when Eye Bags clearly lost the plot. Thing is Elmer hasn’t hit a home run on a trade yet like Iron Mike did. He’s had a couple chink hits and a couple doubles , but a few too many whiffs

It's shameful seeing a Canuck fan throw boquets at Keenan all the while throwing Pat QUINN under the bus. Pat made his mistakes as all GMs do but no GM loved this team and city more than Pat. Keenan couldn't give two shits about the Canucks. Bubbles is just not a good human at all.

Keenan flukes out on one trade, Pat QUINN saved this organization and brought it to its current glory and you piss on hm and make love to someone who could care less about this city? Holy hell

Lol again make shit up. You’re better than this... but I guess you dont think straight when you are constantly getting your head caved in. If the Bertuzzi trade is a fluke , so is the Courtnall , Momesso and Ronning trade u fucking inbred

Yeah, I liked Blob better when he agreed with me but lately I have sucked Elmer dry and I get why he doesn’t want to be a part of this..
