from 1st to 31st is a joke. Of course they wouldn't be anywhere close to last.
What he is saying is the leaves have 3 strong prospects and after those 3 there's nothing but crap. Which is complete crap.
You know what else is crap? Your 2016/2017 version of the maple leaves. Raw feces.

Toronto has the best farm system in the NHL and it isn’t close. Based on my prospect definitions, there are zero reasonable arguments for anyone to even be in the same conversation. Not only do they have a ton of elite talent in players like Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander, but their depth is elite too. There are at least 20 prospects in this system that would fit in many other teams’ top 10.

Only the top 3 my a$$. Connor Brown makes a lot of top 50 NHL prospects.

Big blow to the Stars, and now
According to @galkevich32 Valeri Nichushkin is set to sign 2-year deal with #CSKA of the #KHL.
CSKA has just acquired rights for him #Stars
Elliotte Friedman ‏@FriedgeHNIC
Now, word the Nichushkin signing to CSKA Moscow will indeed occur. Nothing official yet, but going down that road.
Two years falls in line with Ruff's contract with the Stars, Nuke really hates Ruff that much.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The Nich thing - it's not so much that they lost his skill (he had 40-45 points last year), but that they lost a great trade piece to finally get that goalie they so very much need.

One good thing for Dallas is if they can pry Miller out of Bennings grasp they'll score a free second rounder

Problem with Dallas is we'd have to take on one of their expensive goalies in return and everyone loves to point out the hatred between the owners and how Nill screwed us over with the botched Hamhuis TDD, oh well they lost out on that by trading for Russell.

Their defense still isn't that great, they'd probably like to have Edler & Miller in a bigger deal, but they just lost their biggest trade chip in Nichushkin.

Or...we acknowledge now that we dont have a hope in hell this year and buy Nuke for cheap...maybe Miller and...i dunno...a second?

sheesh his 3rd concussion already.
@TSNSteveLloyd

Can't blame Ekblad & the Panthers for being cautious. If it is determined to be a concussion, it's his 3rd since August 2014.
