I’ve had my Chevy Silverado for 5 years now, and not one thing has gone wrong with it!

Chevy Silverado’s may not be the prettiest looking trucks to pick up the high society ladies in but they are the lowest maintenance of them allDoyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 8:42 amI’m asking myself the same questionChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:44 am Why would you buy a Titan?

Re: My Truck...
Fucking exhaust manifold blew a hole in it and the pipe bent and melted the wiring harness. $1500 punch in the eye. The guy also said the left front wheel bearing is shot. He wanted another $1000 for that. Nissan parts of course. Yeah no I’ll go to Lordco and get buddy to do it for half price

Chevy fuel pumps used to be a weak link after 200k and their front ends need work prematurely as well. Other than that they're pretty reliableChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 10:18 amChevy Silverado’s may not be the prettiest looking trucks to pick up the high society ladies in but they are the lowest maintenance of them allDoyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 8:42 amI’m asking myself the same questionChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:44 am Why would you buy a Titan?

Was just gonna link this. I had to replace my front coils, lower tie rods, and balls, saved $400 buying everything from rockauto. Even coming from the states with the exchange.....I was also able to grab aftermarket performance parts instead of Nissan OEM.Topper wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 1:22 pm The go to for parts

I always prefer to buy and support local. But when it's not even close, how can a guy do that?
Re: My Truck...
Yeah, why not go with Chevy then? I mean, if you're gay and coming out of the closet, just pull that band-aid all the way off right.....The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 4:32 pmChevy fuel pumps used to be a weak link after 200k and their front ends need work prematurely as well. Re: My Truck...
Winter tires.
I need something that is tough as heel for working in the bush but decent on ice.
Love the Goodyear DuraTrac for off road. I'm on my 3rd set and can't see running anything else but I need something for icy roads as well as off road.
Don't want studs, chaining up is a last resort. May get another set of DuraTracs and have them siped.
Suggestions.

Blizzak WS80 is fantastic on ice and pretty durable for me. 3rd winter now and lots of highway miles. I recommend them

Had those on the wife's car before the Michelin's x ice she now has. Good on ice but not sure about them off road or following a cat building new roadThe Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:52 pm Blizzak WS80 is fantastic on ice and pretty durable for me. 3rd winter now and lots of highway miles. Re: My Truck...
Those may work, same price as the DuraTracs but not available in the size I run (235/85/16) though the 265/70/17 will fit the stock rims. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 7:06 pmI had 10 ply blizzaks up north on a company lease for the mines, they were expensive but tough as fuck.Topper wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:20 pmHad those on the wife's car before the Michelin's x ice she now has.
