The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

In the end, it's a "game of inches": Matt Ryan's arm was just about to move forward on the fumble play, and the last 2-pt conversion made it across the plane by about 10cm. Close, but no cigar, Atlanta.
I wonder if they fall like this year's Carolina next season?
The Patriot's "luck" was in a few of the bounces, and decisions made by Atlanta.
Edelmann's catch was brilliant. There was luck in the bounce that kept it out of the dirt.
The Falcons had the Pats on the ropes. Brady was getting hammered. Then they backed off and went into a prevent setup. All it did was prevent them from winning. Brady suddenly had time and literally picked them apart, which he will do every time given that opportunity. The pass interference to end it all was just a terrible break for the Falcons, a legit call, but just bad timing for that decision by the safety.
I made it halfway through the 1st quarter. Football is so damn boring
Tell me about it!
I once actually fell asleep watching the Iowa State cyclones. At the stadium! Live!
Seriously. They play for like ten seconds. Then the refs bring out the tape measure, half the players leave the field. New players jog on slowly. Some one is carried out on a stretcher. Five minutes later they start playing again - for another ten seconds.
Some people compare it to chess. And I guess from a spectator's viewpoint there could be some truth in it.
I mean, I know chess. Fun to play, really boring to watch.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.
Heh... I thought it was fairly compelling! It's one thing when the score is low and both offenses are terrible, it's another when it's due to great defense.
If football is boring, how do you make it through a baseball game? (that question may not apply to you, Per)

Lol no doubt. Honestly i hate both of those sports for watching.
International rugby is wicked to watch though....especially the 7s tourneys
I’m starting figure out rugby. It IS good. And agreed on 7s... great pace to that. I should go check out 7s live one of these days. There are lots of Vic, Van tournaments.
