One that dragged an ended up a comedy was about the Cecil Hotel in LA and the death of of the Vancouver girl. The longer it dragged, the funnier it became as the supposed basement dwelling internet sleuths became the hapless stars of the show. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Yes! That was comical - I actually was working and had it on in the background, and it just. kept. going. Could have been an interesting 45 minute show.Topper wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 9:50 am One that dragged an ended up a comedy was about the Cecil Hotel in LA and the death of of the Vancouver girl. Great, great story and acting. It would’ve gotten my vote for best movie of the year.Cornuck wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 12:30 pmYep - enjoyed that oneChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 12:18 pm Watched the Sound of Metal on crave last night, such a good movie! Low budget indie film, but very good

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?
I admit I watched the first three season of TWD.
It got boring and predictable.
I’ve been turned off of zombie-esque movies/series ever since.
Try Black Summer on Netflix. The zombies are there but it’s more of a human interaction story than just running in circles from zombies.
And if you haven’t watched any of the Narcos series. Start with Narcos. Then Narcos Mexico. Then the last Narq.
I really can’t get into that new one with Tom Cruise aka someone Pratt.

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?
I hear you - I haven't watched any of TWD, and now most zombie movies just seem to be variations on a very common theme.
Watched "Let Him Go" the other night - slow, slow buildup, but a decent movie.
