This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.
I thought the number was pretty consistently around 80 % of the hospitalized were people who hadn’t had a single dose. I admittedly haven’t been paying close attention lately other than going to the US my life is pretty much back to normal. Been to a Canucks game, gone to restaurants and pubs and hope to travel to Mexico next fall. All four of us have both shots and nobody has been sick. Wife works for the city at the recreation facilities and kids are both in high school so we are all obviously in the line of fire. Hoping they punt this $200 test to come back to Canada next year. A simple test should be enough.

We wore masks in. And I threw mine on to go get a beer or go to the bathroom. Other than that it was pretty loose. I didn’t wear it in my seat. Buddy I went with did.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why they can’t have rapid testing for people to attend games, concerts, go to restaurants etc. Doesn’t make sense as some people are health compromised and don’t want to get the shots. Other people just want to battle govt on anything and everything. I can’t be bothered. I need to get back to some sort of normal. I don’t love the fact that people need to have a passport but it isn’t a hill i’m prepared to die on.

We have strict daily procedures at work and had written protocols in place as early as February last year (2020), well ahead of the general curve....further to that we rapid test all the time vaccinated or not....off with the sniffles Monday....it's either a Covid test before you're back or, if the PHO won't test you because you're not "sick enough" it's full on 100% healthy, detailed questionnaire, temperature test and rapid test before you're allowed back in the building, a corporate vehicle or out in the field with other techs.

Sorry Donny, I do not see any link to what I said about 85%+ of the people in the hospital have not been vaccinated? You linked to a tragic story about a hockey rink and a rec league with a bad outbreak. No one said being vaccinated will stop you from getting the symptoms or even die, which is why even 15% of the people in hospital are vaccinated.

Yes you are correct, my original number was high but again that is what I heard/read in mid October. This is the most recent I can find.
From Oct. 25-31, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 64.4% of cases.
From Oct. 18-31, they accounted for 72.4% of hospitalizations.
The latest, update, Nov 5,21
Note, hospitalizations are not the same as cases currently in hospital. That percentage we don't know.
Also, a few weeks ago they admitted that some are in hospital much longer than recorded in their stats.They are removed from the list at 10 days symptom free even though they may still be in hospital recovering from covid. It is a numbers game. I'm certain they have far more data than they are showing us.
From Oct. 28 to Nov. 3, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 65.3% of cases.
From Oct. 21 to Nov. 3, they accounted for 71.1% of hospitalizations.
Interesting fear mongering headline in the National Post yesterday about Dr Tam saying that children under 11 now make up the highest demographic of new cases. This as Phaser applies to stun children. Buried in the article is that children's cases remain mild and most outbreaks in schools is limited to 4 individuals.
The push will be to stab the kids and woe be the parents and guardians blocking the politicians.

I watched it again and I say it's real.
The only one behaving oddly is the Karen.
But that's what Karens do.
It's staged. Very artificial interactions (the pilot in particular), and the people surrounding don't actually seem all that interested in it. If it was legit you'd have more "crowd noise".
