The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Thanks Meg, I quite enjoyed that and I came away with a newfound respect for Russell Brand.

Yeah. Many European countries, including Sweden, Denmark and Norway, have done away with covid restrictions already, while others have implemented passport systems where you are allowed to hang out and party if you have proof of having had your shots or already having had the disease. I think it may have been a rash decision though, as we are seeing surges in eastern Europe, where vaxx rates are low, and in the UK, where it seems the new delta plus strain is more likely to cause breakthrough infections than previous strains.
But for the time being life is almost back to normal in large parts of western Europe.

Minor league hockey in a bit of disarray as since last weekend coaches and team officials are no longer exempt from the vax mandate. I know of a few teams that no longer have head coaches and it's suspected that some teams will lose players as well since parents are not keen to miss their kids' practices/games for the second year in a row. It's a really shitty situation. Some friends of mine and their kids are affected and it's painful to see.

It is ref's here that are missing and in demand. Usually a few 15-16 yr olds ref for the littler kids.
Mandate covers all youth sports and will effect all of them as they are already short of volunteers. Agreed, a shitty situation.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
