Last night I learned that there are TWO kinds of corn (field and sweet)
... and that only Nebraskans can tell the difference while they're still on the stalk.

A lot of corn farmers will plant a row or two of sweet corn on the outside of their main fields so they can pick them when ready (assuming the raccoons don't get it first) - the "field corn" (or just 'corn') - is left to dry on the stalk before harvesting.
For all their pride in corn down here, it doesn't come close to Chilliwack corn.
And yes, I've learned more about farming than I'll ever need or want to remember.

I'll bet if you could get them to swap out the cabbage for sweet corn, you'd love those runzas!

Good news!
Despite the rethorics, under Trump coal power plants are shutting down at a faster rate than under Obama!
An estimated 39,000 MW of coal power plant capacity has disappeared since he took office, and it is trending toward 46,600 before this term ends. In Obama's first term only 15,000 MW of capacity was shut down, and then 43,100 in his second term.
Trump is really making Obama look like a fossil fuel hugger.
