The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Duvall is an actor that deserves more love....
Speaking of "The Postman" didn't he used to work nights at the US Postal Service?
...so it seems, good recall Doc, I was not aware.
Apparently he, Hackman, Hoffman and James Caan (Rollerball!!) were all in acting school together.
Yowza!
Was just thinking about an interview with one of them where they talked about Hackman, Hoffman, and Duvall, together and hitting the Hollywood scene around the same time. The comment was to the effect of all three of them being outstanding actors who were passed over for leading roles in favour of lesser but better looking talent.
I actually can't think of a movie with either of those 3 guys where they have shit the bed in terms of their performance.

Hoffman has obviously been in a ton of great movies from the Graduate through Little Big Man, Kramer vs Kramer, Midnight Cowboy, Rain Man, Papillon et cetera.
One of my favs was a flic called Marathon Man with Roy Scheider (Jaws!) and Sir Laurence Olivier.
lol John Cusack is a problem? Just an average actor imho. Funny the things that trigger folks. Matt Leblanc and Tony Danza are likely the two worst actors of the last 100 years. I’d love a free punch at Howie Mandell
