Creating Game Day threads

Post by Cornuck »

Anyone is welcome to start a GDT, but please check first to see if one has already started.

The title should be clear: (eg) GDT: Oct 10: Canucks host Others - 7pm - CBC, SNet

Use Pacific time, list the TV coverage.

As for the content, it can be as simple or complex as you like. Links to to previews are appreciated, or stats, etc.

Feel free to start them for pre-season as well.

Please do not list ANY illegal feeds on the board. Brian has worked hard to get in good with the team, and he doesn't want to risk it. If you must find an 'alternate feed' use the PM system.

We have to be inclusive and politically correct no?!

The night is black after all and our team is darker...

No one else has started it so I thought I would give it a go. I am feeling good about our chances tonite as I believe the Dallas game was simply the game where it all went bad at the same time. I forget who, but someone recently said that the criteria for being a Canuck fan was to believe they will win the Cup EVERY year. I suppose they were right even if it means leaving one's judgement at home. After all, what is a fan about if it is not about loyalty. This is a fan based thread and site. If I want to listen to how bad my team is, all I got to do is go to TSN or other places where so called experts tell us who is good and who is bad.

None of them saw the Kings coming three years ago and none of them will see us when we got to the promised land. GO Canucks!!!!!!!!!!!! Kick the Blues in their balls and get two points.

November 24 and no one has posted. Canucks versus the Wild. They re a good team with Parise and Sutter. Excellemt possession numbers (though I am not sure about that) and all that but beyond Parise no dominant forward. Good team and will be good test for rookies. Virtanen with 2
