I mean, how many of these recent OT losses have we seen Pettersson on the ice for, losing every single close battle in the offensive zone? Maybe start eating an extra meal?

...just saw the highlight of the OT goal.

Not a good look for the kid.

Weak on the puck.

Weak on the backcheck effort.

He barely made it back to the blue line ffs.

Not 100% sure what Horvat was up to on the play either.

Cut the kid some slack Donny, I mean it was Jonathan Marchessault who outmuscled him for that puck and he’s an absolute behemoth.

I’ll agree Petey got outmuscled, and should have played that better.

He needed to get defensive position, no one’s winning that puck battle reaching for the puck from a position of weakness. Be smarter.

Bo is for sure as much to blame, saw that as well! He needs to read that as well and be back to cover. A 3 on 2 in OT is norm and playable.

These are the details that give up points. And it’s what make a playoff team!

No, from what I saw he was out in the third group.

Just got back from smashing the glass woman, what I miss?

Probably the fact that she's packing sausage. Did she only want it from the back?

Yeah, I watched it again today on The Score Morning Highlights.

Man does EP appear initially positionally unaware and subsequently lazy on that play.

The post puck loss optics are not good either....

I really hope this kids sorts it all out.

Kinda odd, as Petey has always been great back checking, pretty smart, even with his slight frame.

They were pressing too hard for a goal, they know they have no room to give up any more points.

But as we know, especially 3 on 3, if you don't score when you press the opposition is for sure getting a chance the other way! The Knights took advantage.

EP isn't the only one we've seen do this, Miller has a couple times as well.

The Canucks are playing like they are behind the 8 ball because they are. Just a matter of time before mathematically they're done!

They're rolling at 95-98% (including Demko). They know they're done and are playing for pride.

That extra 2-5% is the difference between winning and losing apparently
