Men vs boys.

The Blues are a nasty piece of business.

They took advantage of their chances, we didnt. Thats why we're fighting for a wild card spot, and they're not. Good teams find a way finish.

Good team have good players.

To me they're tiptoeing around it, there is real potential, high end in a few places.

But they need some shit, to much of it, save for a lucky run, to be a serious playoff contender.

Hopefully "new" management can cut off some of the rot and fill in with what this team needs.

Some of our young ones deserve to be on a winner due to talent alone.

Who knows how much they'd elevate their games as they mature as well.

Interesting off-season.

In theory, Brock is a good player. He had chances, but didnt bury them.

But yes, they have fewer holes.

Yeah, didn't mean as a comparable between the teams.

Just bounced off your good teams point into mine.

An addendum if you will.

That surely part of it.

A little size.

A little pace.

A bunch of prick and grit.

A position tweak or 3.

You can see it's there.

What is he worth to you as a fan? Much over 5 million I say let him walk. He’s slow as hell, doesn’t drive play at all, soft defensively and won’t initiate contact at all. The cap space is valuable. Burakovsky and Nickushkin are both UFA this summer among others.

Yes, agree. He gets chances, he shows up hungry for some games. Does he bury enough at a pace where we should give him $7.5M or more on a multi-year? I say no.

100% agree. Brock's got talent, but he doesn't bring enough consistently to warrant that kind of coin and term that should be spent on a real top 6 winger. After the way he played last year, I expected a hell of a lot more from him and Pettersson. Given the choice, I'd keep Petey.

Brock is having a horrid year by his standards.

Worst year ever by far.

Can he bounce back?

Who knows, but if one of Bo/JT/Pete/Garland/Brock must go

... let it be Brock says I.
