does that tell us how conflicted the room was... ??
everyone was getting traded on the radio i was listening to.... sadly
I think it tells us how inconsistent their effort is. Boudreau mentioned it, he thinks their practice habits are part of the problem.

Travis is doing a whole lot of reflecting right now, must feel like an asshole for getting Benning fired. He’s just not a good coach plain and simple. It’s not looking good on him one bit, I’d be surprised if he works at this level again
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Halakules!!! Man, I was thinking before the game, Halak had to play the entire game no matter what happens: win, lose or if we got SHalaked. Demko needs the nite off and no mercy hooks for Halak this game. He'd have to suck it up if the game turned ugly. I was preparing myself for another ass kicking, but was pleasantly surprised to see Halak playing well again and he pulled out the W. I liked his play for most of the season, but his last 2 starts left a lot to be desired. Ever since he got his bonus, his play seemed to taper off. Halak has a ton of experience and has been through the highs and lows of the season, so I'm sure he wanted to battle back. Also, I'm sure he wants to prove that he still has some game left in the tank and get another contract somewhere for next season. He prob would have got the SO last nite, if the zebras didn't keep giving the Avs the PP. Halak seemed to struggle against the weaker teams (Jersey + Isles), maybe we should just keep giving him the tougher starts. :P

Typical Canucks, they never make anything easy for themselves. If we could have gotten a couple wins against some of the weaker teams throughout the year (ie: Ducks, Jersey, etc), we'd be sitting pretty. If we can find a way to win tonite, we should be in the wild card conversation again. One thing for sure, our guys won't go down without a fight and they'll prob keep things interesting for the balance of the season. :D

Seriously, Doc? Are YOU not OBSESSED with painting Elmer in the BEST possible light? :D Maybe there is some common ground in the middle that you, Blob and a couples therapist can find? ;)

Nay, nay, nay...

I have stated a few times that he made a mistake on the Loui contract and the Green extension.

And I'll admit right now that the jet-black hair-dye phase was a huge miscalculation. :hmmm:
