Tampa at Vancouver. Mar 13th, 7PM. SN, ESPN

Post by Ringer#20 »

The Lightning are beatable after losing 4-1 to the coilers last night. They played their first line over 20 minutes and their main D logged big minutes as well. Lets come out all playing smart, full speed hockey and get a well deserved win. Going to need another big night from Demko, there will always be plenty of danger from this team. The Canucks had an optional practice and Demko did not attend…sure hope he is not hurt.

When you see your Canucks a-comin'
And you hear their skate blades hummin'
We'll all join together as their fans
Don't need no game day frictions
Only to continue our points collections
Won't you join together with all fans

Should we really think or care
What hair coloring Benning wears
Let's just join together as Nuck fans
All GM's make their gaffs
But their strengths too come to pass
Come on and join together with all fans

Nice work Donny!

Hey, should we be overly worried that Tampa has lost 3 in a row? Just saw as well, no backup goalie for the Lightning tonight. Not saying I don’t have faith, just a couple concerns is all. Would be a good time for a couple guys like Conner and Pod to get hot.

Hear that Nuck train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't been so happy,
Since, I don't know when,
I was stuck in Rebuild Prison,
And time was draggin' on,
But now this trains a-rollin',
And folks are jumping on.

When I was just a baby,
My Mama told me, "Son,
Always cheer that Nuck team,
That’s how to have your fun,”
So I’m a-jokin and a-stokin’
Yeah I’m riding high,
When you hear that whistle blowin',
You know your time is nigh.

You mean Petey?

Pete missed the optional skate but he's playing tonight.

I believe his wrist is still bothering him somewhat...

:drink: Hey, how about my theme is I think this game, we need support from our bottom 6 to win it. Or, players like Conner and Pods we all would like to see getting more points?

I thought I read somewhere that said Demko would not participate in most practices helping him to maximize the number of starts he can make during their run to make the playoffs? But, I am getting old, so maybe it was in my dreams last night. I also just realized a few minutes ago that we are now in daylight savings time again; just may have missed the start.

Go nucks!

That's true, but he was at the optional skate today.

Petey wasn't.

But to be clear, Elias WILL be in the lineup tonight.
