Podkolzin's English is coming along surprisingly well in only a few months

I only have one thing to ask - is Doyle still drafting Turcotte 5 spots ahead of Podkolzin like his legendary hero Rob Blake did?

Shit game.

The Islanders are 20 points out of the playoff picture and 12 in our own rearview, yet we had to come from behind to beat them.

If that was against any of the playoff teams we would have lost 7-2 again. So many bad turnovers, so many missed assignments. Good teams bury those, as it was the Islanders scored a couple.

Our window is not yet open.

Listen Yao.

You're the 3rd deviant motherfucker who has shit on my fine tuned, leveraged propulsion of our team to victory last night.

Quit with the negative energy or you'll fuck up all my leave crushing voodoo juju I have banked for Saturday.

Aight?!

I'm basking in the glory of another surreal Wids conquest and the cherry on top is a road W tagged to my middling GDT record and you're tainting my glow bro.

Swede hater.

Travis Green has one corner of his living room dedicated as a shrine to Barry Trotz.

NYI are much better than their record just like this Canucks team. They have a very good bottom 6 but without Barzal they lack punch. In fact, they were a favorite to make noise this year but have had issues with goaltending and injuries

Van made mistakes sure but have an extra gear that, when engaged, have them running with the best teams in the league.

The issue is how to have that elite level engaged more

Not so sure Mëds - this team might not be perfect, it certainly needs some tweaks up front, to add speed/bottom six scoring and definitely needs help on D - but really, the Canucks have been the best team in the Pacific Div. since BB was hired on Dec 6th. That is 3 months... not a small sample size. If we had a good coach from the start of the season, we'd be a playoff team for most of the year. I'd classify that as a pretty good team.

Oh I bet Mëds isn’t a happy man at all when his wife drags him to IKEA. He probably wants to hunt Per Olov Brasar down in Sweden and annihilate him after the experience

I bet Mëds secretly loves Swedish meatballs.

Gets pissed off when he has to go through the authoritarian path laid out by IKEA stores and goes ballistic when they won't let him take a shortcut through the bath and toiletries section to the cafeteria.

He’s lacking a neck.

Good coach but he sucks the life out of the game.
I agree, he's a VERY good coach.

So good in fact that when he feels there's not a lot of offensive players on his team he'll instill a solid defensive system.

But when he's in saaay Washington.... amirite?
