The only thing that would make Blobby turn on his precious devils is if they were to put Elmer in charge.

Elmer is Blob's Moriarty.

Just waking up and late to the party again.....got caught up on the highlights.

4 of those goals are not Halak's fault. That being said, Demko probably would have had 2 of those 4 and it's a 2-2 game instead.

This game tonight is a perfect example of why JR and PA should be selling this year. This team is NOT close to being consistent enough to even be considered as a bona fide playoff competitor, let alone final-4 contender.

Too late to kick Halak while he is down?

….my first post in this thread would have saved us 1.5 million in cap space next year.

Well, he got his 10 starts, so his bonus money is guaranteed now.

His NMC is something he can waive at any time and request a trade to anywhere.

That 4th goal should've been his last goal against in Vancouver. They had just scored and were about to take that game over

Put Halak in at the next face off.

I bet he waives his NMC tonight.
You might just be prophetic.

Both teams.

What happened to our Canucks from the previous 2 games?
Boudreau nailed it when he said that the last couple games were not 7-1 and 5-2 wins, Demko made the scores look much more lopsided than they should have been.

This team is NOT that good.

Halak is no Demko and deserves a lot of the blame. The team sagged noticeably as he let in some stinkers.

But let's not absolve blame for the fiasco in front of him. It all started with slow reactions, horrible passing and absolutely soft, surrender-type effort in our own zone by some of the players to keep the Devils pressure on a mentally broken goalie and defence corp.

More than enough blame to go around. Put this game into the Just Not Ready thread and move on.

PTO guy does absolutely nothing. Let's put some bite into the lineup. Anyone from Abby is better.
